Swedish Massage is the systematic manipulation of the body's soft tissue, focusing on muscles, ligaments and tendons. Massage oil or lotion is applied to the body with various stroking movements to facilitate improved muscle tone.

Shiatsu is based on the principles of ancient Chinese medicine. Shiatsu, also referred to as acupressure, translates in Japanese to finger (shi) pressure (atsu). Channels of energy known as meridians exist throughout the body and are stimulated in order to facilitate a healthy flow of energy.

Reflexology is a form of massage that focuses on the hands and feet. Specific reflex areas are located on the soles of the feet and palms of the hand that correspond to organs, glands and the entire body. These reflex areas are stimulated in order to release tension, induce relaxation and enhance health. Reflexology has soothing and restorative effect.

Guided Imagery involves using your mind to create a scene in order to elicit a specific response. You may imagine being in a peaceful place in order to promote relaxation. Guided imagery is often used in many different contexts.

Gentle Yoga means "union" in Sanskrit. It is a practice that uses the mind and body in order to attain a peaceful state of being. Hatha Yoga refers to the physical aspect of yoga and involves: poses (asanas), breathing practices (pranayama), meditation and deep relaxation.

Reiki is a gentle hands- on healing practice that is designed to promote a healthy flow of energy throughout the body and reduce stress. The practitioner gently places her hands on specific areas of the recipient's body.
